I am a curator, writer and broadcaster. I was Head of the South Asia collections at the Peabody Essex Museum and before that worked at the British Museum.
I bring contemporary cultural production into critical view. I consult, curate, write and occasionally make telly too.
I am a Clore Leadership fellow and a founder of Art South Asia Project.

I thought my next step was to become a museum director but after the Clore Leadership programme I realised for me leadership is a frame of mind and not a job title.
Creative leadership across UK cultural institutions.
Supported by The Art Fund.

I am a founding board member of ASAP. Art South Asia Project supports initiatives to deepen engagement with modern and contemporary visual arts from across South Asia and its diaspora. We give grants and assist networks across the nations of India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal and here in the UK.
